Chikuwa and Dried Seaweed Miso Soup
Servings: 4 people
- 4 piece chikuwa/ちくわ/獅子狗卷 1 chikuwa is almost 15 cm
- 4 cups water/水
- 1 Tbsp fish broth powder/粉末だし/木魚粉
- 4 sheets seaweed(toasted)/焼きのり/海苔
- Cut chikuwa into thin round slices.
- Cut or tear dried seaweed into about 1 inch long and 1cm thick.
- Boil water and add dashi powder.
- Add chikuwa and boil for at least 5 minutes.
- Turn off heat, put dried seaweed and stir in miso.
