Corn Rice

Equipment

  • Rice Cooker

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice/白米/米飯
  • 1 whole corn/コーン/玉米
  • 1 tsp salt/塩/鹽
  • water/水

Instructions

  • Wash corn and using knife slice the kernel out from the cob. Cut the corn cob into 2 pcs.
  • Wash and add necessary amount of water by level of 2 cups in your rice cooker. After water is added at the appropriate level. Leave it soaked for at least 30 minutes. This will result to a fluffier rice. 
  • Add corn kernels and salt. Mix and place the cobs on top.
  • Cook as usual. Onced cooked, discard the cobs and mix the rice to distribute well the corn kernels.
