Spinach Sesame Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pack spinach/ほうれん草/菠菜
- 2 Tbsp sesame/ごま/芝麻 ground
- 2 tstsp sugar/砂糖/糖
- 2 tsp soysauce/醤油
Instructions
- Wash spinach. Boil water in a pot, put in spinach stem part first, hold for 10 seconds and let go leaf part. This method helps it cook evenly. Boil for 1 minute or quicker if using smaller spinach.
- Soak into ice water or cold water to stop cooking process. Drain well and squeeze excess water.
- Cut into 2-3cm long and mix well with sesame dressing.
Notes
If you don't have ground sesame, you may grind your whole sesame seeds using mortar and pestle if not available put in a zip lock bag ang roll with anything solid like a glass jar.
